On the last weekend of September 2017, MELANIE RIO FLUENCY presented NOVEDENA SESSION#02, an artistic event conceived as an invitation to "LIVE ART IN DAILY LIFE".
After an initial event in April 2017 focusing on artist publishing and the use of Instagram by photographers, it was the turn of visual artists Briac Leprêtre and Thomas Tudoux to present their latest paintings and sculptures in the town house at 34 boulevard Guist'hau in Nantes.
Briac Leprêtre is continuing his series of watercolours that meticulously describe the banality of everyday life.
Thomas Tudoux 's wax trophies and ex-voto paintings inspired by the Guinness Book of Records take a wryly humorous look at the contemporary cult of performance.
On Sunday afternoon, the exhibition was enlivened by a performance from the duo Antonin Margaux, who live-printed proposals devised by Briac Leprêtre and Thomas Tudoux using their Charrette, a mobile screen-printing device.
